I have attended numerous conferences at the former Congress Centre, and the change the new Ottawa Convention Centre has brought to our city could be likened to throwing out the Black and White Television and getting the
latest wide-screen, digital colour TV. It really is a remarkable transformation and I must congratulate all involved in
thinking ahead and delivering on a truly state-of-the art convention centre, perfectly situated in a burgeoning and
vibrant capital.
