We are looking for a driven individual to assist in the implementation of an aggressive marketing and sales promotion strategy to meet our revenue goals. Marketing & Sales Coordinator: We have a challenging business plan for which we have developed a Strategic marketing and sales plan and a new branding strategy. We need a highly motivated person who will assist in the implementation of the strategies by assisting the marketing and sales promotion initiatives. The goal is to position the OCC and Ottawa in the target markets and generate leads for sales team.
The duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Co-ordinate correspondence for the Marketing and Sales team, including typing letters, memoranda and contracts
Co-ordinating marketing-related corporate events
Manage trade show and conference co-ordination including scheduling, invitations, follow-up letters, booth design, logistics and collateral
Ordering and maintenance of promotional merchandise inventory for clients
Liaising with external advertising agency
Database development and mailing list management
Development and management of reports and market research
A variety of complex administrative and clerical duties for the Sales & Marketing team
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail and customer service oriented
Ability to work under pressure
Well organized; able to set priorities and meet deadlines
Sound knowledge of new on-line media
Available to work irregular hours on occasion
Excellent time management skills and multitasking ability
Fluency in both official languages is preferred
Applicants must have completed a two or three-year Community College program in Marketing, Hospitality & Tourism or business administration, or have a comparable combination of education and experience. A minimum of two years experience in a similar environment is required and fluency in both official languages would be an asset. Strong computer skills including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design.
